About Ristori

I guess I started singing when I was five years old. I would sing with my music teacher playing the piano. I was drawn to singing, and my beautiful music teacher helped, from an early age. Performance became second nature to me throughout my primary school and teenage years until I became professional when I was 19.
The stage is my second home. My musicians and I can stay 2 or 3 hours on stage performing and sing. I get maximum pleasure from my work, such in fact that it is not really work at all.

I am very fortunate to earn my living from a work that I enjoy.

My inspiration is La Dolce Vita of the early ’60’s in Italy. This period immortalised by Fellini in his movie of the same name. I did not live in this period however the influence is felt throughout Italy. The period, the time when the Italians recognised and enjoyed the good life following the turmoil of Europe post war and the emergence of youth culture much as in America with Elvis.

The Difference between the US and Italy was that the Italians embraced this period. It was a song that never ended and in Italy this Joy de Vivre produced the music and timeless classics that have travelled the world, tu vuò fa’ l’americano, Volare, Come Prima & guarda che luna together with many others spread around the world in interpretation whilst Italians also embraced the Rock n Roll and the American legend.

My musicians and I travel Europe-wide and have visited the US and Moscow many times for concerts and private parties. We play often in Monaco in the American Bar at the Hotel de Paris. The American Bar is a timeless legend hosting world famous artists such as Tony Bennett & Frank Sinatra. Last year Lady Gaga joined us on stage. This was a memory for us and I hope my music Makes a memory for you.
